A father and son from Shreveport, LA took a lot of road trips together in 2020. Along the way, they found beauty in an otherwise tumultuous year, in sights both familiar and new. They documented their journey in graphite, watercolor, photograph, cut-out, gouache, colored pencil, collage, and more; accumulating 150+ pieces of art inspired by their time together, logging miles from NYC to Dumas, TX. Along for the Ride is their ode to stopping to smell the roses long enough to enjoy the journey between destinations.
